  • Each traveler must carry a valid passport or ID document with the same name that was used at the time of booking to match entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • Enter the names of all travelers at the time of booking.
  • A voucher that does not bear the names of all travelers presented to the ticket office before entry will result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
  • The Colosseum and the Roman Forum are not wheelchair-accessible because they are ancient sites.
  • We strongly recommend that mobility-challenged travelers book a private tour so that the guide can adjust the pace according to their specific needs.
  • This tour takes three hours and involves quite a fair amount of walking͏, some stairs͏ and uphill paths.
  • There are water fountains on site.
  • Strollers will be allowed but not recommended since there are steep steps and uneven ground; children must be carried by an adult for most of the tour or able to walk.
  • Wear comfortable shoes; bring hat, bring sunscreen.
  • There is no scheduled break but it will be possible to stop for restrooms along the path as may be found in need.
  • Food is allowed in the archeological area.
  • For security, all visitors and their bags shall undergo screening; all items (including mobile phones) must be placed inside the bag/backpack or in the tray for X-ray screening.
  • Large backpacks, camping bags, bulky bags, and luggage/trolleys are not permitted; medium and small backpacks may be shouldered and have to be checked, as any other bag, with metal detectors opened and visually inspected by security.
  • Note that the Colosseum Administration has the right to close the Colosseum, or parts of it, with or without notice for events, strikes, heavy rain, or any other reason.
  • In such a case, we shall provide an alternative itinerary as shall be deemed fit or provide a partial refund. Also note that sprays of any kind are not allowed inside the Colosseum. Kids need to have a grown-up with them.
