With your exclusive arena floor access, you will enter the Colosseum through the ancient Gladiator's Gate and step directly onto the wooden stage where fighters once battled for their lives. This is one of the most restricted areas of the Colosseum, open only to guided tour groups with special permits.

Standing on the reconstructed arena floor, you will look down into the underground hypogeum chambers where gladiators and wild animals were held before being lifted into the arena. Babies and little kids can ride in a stroller or pram.

There are choices for public transport close by that people of any fitness level can use.
A valid passport or ID document matching the name provided at booking is for each traveler to gain entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Please be sure that the FULL names of ALL travelers are included in your reservation.
If you do not have a voucher with the FULL names of ALL travelers to present at the ticket office PRIOR to entry, you may be denied access to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The timing of the meeting can be changed.
If this happens, you will know ahead of time by email.
People are asked to come 15 minutes before the tour is supposed to start.
Money will not be given back for people who do not show up or come late.

If you are late to the place where everyone is meeting, you cannot join the tour.
Restrooms are not readily available, use them before you come.
Breaks will be given when possible.
Do not bring any weapon of any kind, even a pocket knife.
No glass bottles or big backpacks either.
The tours go on, rain or shine unless it isn't safe.
Security checks are compulsory at entry to the locations.
In high seasons or peak hours, security check waiting times may be very long and have nothing to do with ticket queues.
Also, the names provided at booking cannot be changed.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 10 days before your scheduled departure, you'll receive a full refund.
If you cancel less than 10 days before your scheduled departure, you'll receive a 0% refund.
