Palatine Hill (Palatino)

Palatine Hill is a four-sided flatland rising to 131 feet (40 meters) just south of the Forum in Rome, reaching 168 feet (51 meters) above sea level. Its length around it is 5,700 feet (1,740 meters). The start of the city of Rome is linked with Palatine Hill where digs have found items ranging from old prehistory to the remains of grand imperial homes.
