Palatine Hill (Palatino)

After seeing the Colosseum, you will go to Palatine Hill and look at the ruins of a old town from the 9th century BC. See the early habitations of Rome by the Hippodrome, an elliptical depressed garden from the palace of Domitian. From here there is a great view toward the Circus Maximus and the valley of the Forum. Learn about Romulus and Remus- abandoned twins who were raised by a she-wolf, then fought for control and power when they became men.

Roman Forum (Foro Romano)

Rom the Forum is your last stop, but the best stops. It’s one of the top archaeological sites anywhere in the world and hosts some fantastic Ancient Rome ruins. There’s the Temple of Julius Caesar, the Arch of Titus, the House of Vestal Virgins, and Senate House plus Basilica of Maxentius. That culminates in the procession along the Sacred Way here in the Roman Forum-tha’s Caesar Centurions’ who had paraded along there following each of their battles and victories.
