Here it is possible to walk along the old Roman roads, the Via Sacra and the Via Nova that run between great temples with complex arches and inside which legends such as Romulus and famous Julius Caesar walked. Less than half of the forum stands today but between your guides' knowledge and passion filling in the blanks will bring the city back to life.

  • Please note that your tour will begin with either the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill depending on ticket time that you buy.
  • First Sunday of each month is the day when visiting the Colosseum is free.
  • There’s also info on lowered tour prices on that particular day.
  • Please note, we offer two different tours for the Arena.
  • The VIP Colosseum-Arena Access gives direct access to the Colosseum, Arena floor, Palatine hill and Roman Forum while the other package allows one to enter in the Arena floor from a private entrance only with later visits to Roman Forum and Palatine hill.
  • So you won’t actually get to visit inside the Colosseum with the second package, you will only get access to the Arena floor.
  • Some monuments could be under restoration because of the Jubilee.
