Meet us outside the ground floor exit of the metro (subway) station "Colosseo" by the green kiosk. Look for a yellow label with TOURIKS written on it. Please arrive 30 minutes before the starting time. Note that there is also an upper floor exit of the metro station; please meet us downstairs.

What To Expect

Colosseum

After the first part of the tour, you will visit the Roman Forum and the archaeological site of Palatine Hill with another one-hour guided tour.

30 minutes - Entrance ticket included

Arch of Constantine (Arco di Costantino)

The second part of the tour begins with a visit to one of the greatest triumphal arches in Roman history: the Arch of Constantine the Great, followed by a stroll through the ruins of the Roman Forum.

10 minutes - Free entrance

Roman Forum (Foro Romano)

You can wander among the crumbling ruins of ancient temples and follow the ways of the emperors and senators. Find out how this beautiful land became the heart of ancient Rome. Vesta’s history, gardens of the Virgin, and the pagan temple to the goddess Vesta. Julia’s Temple, the ancient Roman penal system, and its impact on Christianity. Visit the Temple of Castor and Pollux along with the Arch of Titus, and learn about the Sack of Jerusalem. Visit the Senate where, in real life, senators met to decide the fate of the Roman Republic in the actuality they decide to assassinate cremate Julius Caesar.

Palatine Hill (Palatino)

You can follow the paths that the Roman Emperors once took when you go around the hill that some people believe was where the city of Rome was first built: the Palatine Hill. Find out how this place turned from just a regular hill into one of the best neighborhoods in Ancient Rome, while looking over beautiful views of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. From that high point of the Palatine Hill, enjoy a full view from all angles of what history says is the biggest building for games ever in the world, the Circus Maximus.

Please be informed that the tickets for this tour are nominal.
We shall write on the tickets the names you have provided us during checkout.
It is pertinent that the names of those who will be going for the tour are submitted as they appear on their passports.
Security checks will be conducted at the entrance to both the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
These are very stringent checks that cannot be avoided.
There is no possible way of bypassing the lines that exist for these security checks.
Flying drones are not allowed.

Any type of knives is strictly forbidden as well.
No trolleys or large backpacks, or animals are allowed into the Colosseum.
Glass and metal containers are also not allowed inside.
Any type of sprays are forbidden too.
The order of site visitation may vary, with either the Colosseum or the Forum and Palatine Hill set as the first stop.
At this moment, because of COVID-19 prevention measures, Belvedere is not included in this tour.
There shall be a fair amount of walking and stepping; reasonable shoes are recommended.
Kindly note that the group leaves the meeting place 15 minutes before time for the security check to take place.
This tour depends on good weather.
If it is canceled because of bad weather, you can pick another date or get all your money back.
A valid passport or ID document in the name of each traveler whose name was provided at booking is MANDATORY for entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
Kindly be at the meeting point 30 minutes before tour departure time so that accounting for you does not delay the commencement of the tour.
Late-comers may not be allowed inside and there shall be no refunds or rescheduling.

If you cancel less than 7 days before your scheduled departure date, you will receive a 0% refund.
