Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo)

Stop at the Circus Maximus and you can almost hear the ghosts of 250k Roman cheering at the Ben Hur’s chariot races. It was constructed 400 years before the Colosseum, and for centuries was the biggest whole hog … chariot race experience in the ancient world. Nowadays the space gets used for rock concerts from time to time. Just recently Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Bruce Springsteen played for the pleasure of modern Romans.

Colosseum

We’ll stop in front of the Colosseum to take some of the most beautiful photos of your Roman holidays.’ The Colosseum is actually like a prototype of the modern arenas and it was so successful that in ancient times around 200 such amphi-theatres were built in the likeness of this famous Roman stadium. The structure of the Colosseum took only 8 years to build and that is why it is one of the wonders of the classical world

Roma Termini

We find the hill of broken vases. An artificial hill was created by the Romans from the pieces of the vessels in which they packed olives, fish sauces, and wines. What was, over the years, a dumping ground for broken vases has become a hill that is 40 meters high and has a circumference of 700 meters. The hill itself is estimated to be made up of the terracotta[s] of around fifty million vases.
