What To Expect

Roma Termini

This is our meeting place, this magnificent fortress that once belonged to the Pope, right in front of the Ponte Sant'Angelo that spans the Tiber River. The arches of the bridge and the castle are reflected in the water, creating a magnificent light effect.

15 minutes - Free entrance

2
St. Peter's Square

We will photograph Piazza Bernini in the heart of Vatican City, capturing the impressive colonnades and fountains, and of course the mother of all Christian churches: St. Peter's Basilica.

30 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included

3
Via dei Coronari

This is one of Rome's most beautiful and elegant little streets, with many corners and charming little details worth taking photos of to capture Rome's ancient soul.

20 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included

4
Piazza Navona

This is one of our major stops-the square of the Renaissance and Baroque sitting on the site of the ancient Domitian Stadium. And not only is this oval beautiful for taking pictures with the three lovely fountains in it, the most important being Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers, but really, this is a great chance for an enriched class on photography and its philosophies. The buildings themselves and even the details on them will be giving us plenty of photo ‘pexels’.

40 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included

5
Pantheon

Opposite the tiny Piazza della Rotonda, stands the Pantheon, the most immaculate ancient Roman temple of the Eternal City. We are going to take pictures of it from various angles, trying to get that Greek architectural feel set within a Romanic style later construction. The marble dolphins and marine monsters and gargoyles of that fountain smack dab in the center of Piazza della Rotonda – other fascinating subjects for more photos.

20 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included

6
Piazza del Campidoglio

The Capitoline Square is one of Michelangelo's many architectural masterpieces. Its stunning symmetry, with the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius at its center and the three buildings flanking it, offer stunning facades and excellent photography from every angle.

20 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included

7
Roman Forum (Foro Romano)

15 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included

Colosseum

So, our tour will end at what has been billed as the most visited archeological site in the world ’ ’ but at a time when almost nobody will be there to block our view or stand in front of the camera. The shots of the Colosseum and of Constantine’s arch will be those you always wanted to capture, the most iconic evidence of your Roman holidays, and the final great reward for a tour that you’ll wish could last more.

45 minutes - Entrance ticket NOT included
