Then we will go to the very famous Colosseum. Here, we shall get off our Vespas and take a short walk to a beautiful place from where you can ready your cameras for that perfect shot of this ancient arena as our guide shares interesting stories about the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. After having our fill of the Colosseum, we’ll return to our Vespas and embark for the Baths of Caracalla. You can explore the remains of what was once one of the great leisure complexes of ancient Rome from the convenience of a seat upon your dependable Vespa. Hear the interesting history of this huge public bath as our guide rambles on and pictures of the spirited life of yesteryear roll by your mind’s eye. Vespa riding on the first day was exhilarating. But, there was also tranquillity interludes planned as Vespas are parked at the summit of Aventine Hill and we have a visit to Orange Tree Garden. Just walk around, inhale the sweet scent of citrus, prepare yourself for a great surprise-an incredible optical illusion that will keep you riveted. There you can relax, drink water from your bottles and marvel at the wonderful panorama of Rome from above. Such serene beauty would appeal to every sense of yours on the very first day of our vespa ride around it’s perfect to be in between the action.

And so, our Vespa journey is going to be even more exhilarating! We shall ride past the Circus Maximus; that great stadium where ‘d watch in those thrilling chariot races. One can almost hear those roars of the ancient spectators! Next, let’s breeze by Palatine Hill for just a glimpse of the great ruins of the palace where Emperors lived in opulence ages ago. As the end of our Vespa tour approaches, the best is saved for last. We are going to sneak up to Janiculum Hill in Rome. The last stop is at the famous Fontanone, a big fountain that has been placed in a truly wonderful setting. We’ll get off here to take some awesome pictures while standing by the side of the fountain and at a distance view the Rome Panoramic. It is perfect for pausing and reflecting over our Vespa journey and taking in one last breathtaking look at the city. Ready for an exciting end to such an exciting tour!
