Palatine Hill (Palatino)

The Palatine is the most important and beautiful of the famous seven hills of Rome, thus it has to be a stop on any city tour. With your guide, learn how one of history's greatest civilizations was formed and walk through ancient ruins of the Imperial Palace surrounded by enormous pine trees and views over Roman Forum and Circus Maximus below.

For a complete view of life in Old Rome, the Forum must be seen. Set at the heart of Rome's rule, social, and trade acts one can walk on both the Via Sacra and the Via Nova moving through grand arches and strong temples. See the Senate House and ruins of the Rostra the spot where Senators made laws and speakers shared them with all people. See the myth-shrouded Romulus or the great Julius Caesar through the words of your expert guide. Less than half of the Forum stands, but with deep knowledge and passion, they will surely give you all that you want to know.

  • Note that this package does not provide access to the interior of the Colosseum but only to the floor of that arena.
  • Owing to the Jubilee, there is a chance that some monuments may be under renovation.
  • Kindly watch for any information we may have to give regarding possible changes.
